PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has promoted 10 senior bureaucrates to Grade 20 on a permanent basis in the light of the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board. In this regard, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department has issued an official notification, in which it has been stated that all the promoted officers have been retained in their current positions. According to the notification issued, the promoted officers include Director Higher Education Academy of Research and Training Shah Jahan, Secretary Provincial Ombudsman Johar Ali Shah, Director General Local Government Department Junaid Khan, Managing Director Private School Regulatory Authority Iftikhar Ahmed, Director General Culture and Tourism Authority Tashfeen Haider, Managing Director Merged Districts Education Foundation Ainullah, Special Secretary Establishment Department Ahmed Zeb, Director General PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Asfandyar Khattak, Special Secretary Higher Education Ghulam Saeed Khan and Managing Director Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation Khawaja Fahim Sajjad.
The Establishment Department says that this decision has been taken in recognition of the performance, experience and services of the officers, which is a positive step towards the improvement of the provincial bureaucracy and increasing administrative efficiency. These officers have also been directed to continue working on their current responsibilities immediately after the promotion.
