LOWER DIR: Fifteen people have been taken to the hospital after allegedly consuming poisonous food during Iftar dinner in the Kotkay area of Maidan tehsil in Lower Dir here on Wednesday evening.
According to details, 15 people have been taken to the hospital after consuming poisonous food during Iftar at Jamia Muhammadiya Madrasa in the Maidan Kotky area of Lower Dir.
Rescue 1122 medical teams provided immediate medical assistance to the affected people and shifted them to Lal Qila Hospital, while five people were referred to Timergara Hospital on the instructions of doctors.
The victims include Shams, Sirajuddin, Masood, Gul Sharif Khan, Sanam Gul, Hilal, Wali Khan, Sana, Abbas, Sudais and Abdul Rehman.
