15 tourists injured as van plunged in Nathiagali Abbottabad

A tourist bus on its way back from Nathiagali in Abbottabad met with a horrific accident near Bagnotar, injuring 15 people.
According to rescue sources, the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Abbottabad after receiving first aid.
The tourists had gone to visit Nathiagali from Haripur. While returning, the bus driver lost control at Bagnotar and crashed into a roadside safety wall.
As soon as the accident was reported, Rescue 1122 teams immediately reached the spot and started rescue operations.
According to rescue officials, women and children are among the injured, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
Initially, the cause of the accident is said to be the driver’s negligence or a technical malfunction of the vehicle, but investigations are underway.
