1656 babies born in KP hospitals over three days of Eid

 

Advisor to the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on health, Ehtesham Ali, has said that 1656 babies were born in the non-MTI hospitals of the province in three days of Eid-ul-fitr.

While issuing the data of non-MTI health centers providing 24-hour services in 37 districts of the province, Advisor to CM on Health Ehtesham Ali paid tribute to those who served during Eid at the hospitals.

According to the data, 79756 patients received emergency services across the province. Similarly, 3735 patients were provided with maternal and child services, while 1656 deliveries took place during Eid.

The data said that 1706 major and 5814 minor surgeries were performed in the emergency operation theaters of the public sector hospitals in the province.

Similarly, 849 patients were provided with vaccination and treatment for dog bites. Additionally, three snakebite patients were provided with treatment and vaccination.
