2,500 KP schools lack boundary walls and basic amenities: MPA Sobia Shahid

Member provincial assembly (MPA), Sobia Shahid, has claimed that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) 2500 schools lack boundary walls and basic amenities, causing problems to the students.

PML-N’s lady member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Subia Shahid, has said that the budget for elementary education last year was Rs 336 billion, of which only 14 percent was used.
Addressing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session chaired by Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, Subia Shahid said that the expenses of the CM Secretariat were 12 per cent more than the development expenses. It is the incompetence of the PTI that the province has been put in debt. The annual income of the province is less than 8 per cent, while the expenses have increased by more than 12 per cent.
She said that the non-utilization of funds is the incompetence of the government. The budget for elementary education last year was Rs 336 billion, of which only 14 percent was used. Two and a half thousand schools are deprived of boundary walls and other facilities.
She said that the Chief Minister has not received his salaries at Gomal University in his constituency. No development work has been done in Regi Model Town Zone 1 and 2. 10 billion rupees were given as bribes to workers in the name of the Ramadan package.
