RAWALPINDI: A passenger bus heading towards Swat from Karachi overturned on Motorway M2 on Friday, resulting in 8 passengers dead and 15 others injured in the accident.
According to the police, the bus met with an accident near Nila Dula on Motorway M2 and overturned into a deep gorge, killing 8 people, including a girl and a woman, and injuring 15.
According to officials, were 43 passengers on board the passenger bus going from Karachi to Swat.
When the passenger bus reached Nila Dula on Motorway M2, the driver lost control, crossed the roadside, and overturned into a deep gorge, trapping the passengers in the bus.
Five passengers, including a girl, a woman and three male passengers, died on the spot in the accident, while 18 injured, including three seriously injured, were shifted to nearby hospitals after being given first aid, where three seriously injured male passengers also succumbed to their injuries.
