KURRAM: The security forces have demolished 932 illegal bunkers in Kurram after a peace agreement. The security situation at Kurram had worsened after an attack on a convoy in Kurram, Parachinar.
The process of demolition of bunkers is continued in the Kurram district. According to the district administration, a total of 932 bunkers have been demolished so far.
According to the district administration, all bunkers of both religious groups would be demolished, and in this regard, bunkers are being demolished at various places in Upper and Lower Kurram.
According to the district administration data, 353 bunkers have been demolished in Lower Kurram so far, while 579 have been demolished in Upper Kurram.
A total of 932 bunkers have been demolished so far since the Kohat Peace Agreement was inked on January 1.
The district administration says that both religious groups are also cooperating in the demolition of illegal bunkers so that sustainable peace can be ensured in the area.
