Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced temporary closures of key airspace zones in Karachi and Lahore until May 31. Daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (local time), specific flight routes in these cities will be inaccessible to air traffic, though restrictions will not apply on Sundays.
The CAA issued an official advisory confirming that flights can still operate on these routes outside the restricted hours, at altitudes between 9,000 and 25,000 feet. The measure aims to manage air traffic during the specified period, though the authority did not disclose the reason for the closures.
