Pakistan downed 5 Indian jets and destroyed several installations: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), declared that the Pakistan Armed Forces had fulfilled its promise to the nation after several days of heightened cross-border tensions.

Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, along with spokesmen of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN)  is briefing the media about successful military operation ‘Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos’ against the Indian aggression on Sunday.

Armed Forces launched attacks on 26 Indian targets

During media briefing, DG ISPR confirmed that Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force launched attacks on 26 targets inside India and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The attacks caused massive damage to airbases and military installations, destroying S-400 batteries in Adampur and Bhuj airbases.

Pakistan launched its Al-Fatah missile system to strike multiple Indian military installations and airbases involved in launching attacks against Pakistani territory. Reportedly, India’s Akhnoor Aviation Base, Bathinda Airfield, and Sirsa Airfield were decimated in the strikes.

In a significant blow to Indian military assets, Pakistan also destroyed a BrahMos missile storage facility in the Beas region. Simultaneously, JF-17 Thunder jets of the Pakistan Air Force used hypersonic missiles to neutralize India’s S-400 air defence system positioned in Adampur.

India sponsors cross-border terrorism 

Furthermore, DG ISPR confirmed that while Pakistan’s armed forces were busy on the eastern border combating India, the proxies of India, like BLA and TTP, stepped up to increase terrorist attacks in Balochistan and KP. This proves how India sponsors terrorism inside Pakistan.

DG ISPR calls youth as ‘frontline cyber warriors’

DG ISPR praised the unwavering spirit of the Pakistani people, describing their resilience, moral courage, and steadfast support as a vital source of strength for the armed forces during challenging times.

He gave special recognition to the youth, commending them for their pivotal role as frontline cyber warriors in defending Pakistan’s narrative across digital platforms.

The DG ISPR also extended gratitude to the dynamic Pakistani media for effectively countering Indian propaganda and information warfare.

Additionally, the military acknowledged the collective support of the political leadership across all parties, appreciating their unity and firm backing of the armed forces in upholding the country’s sovereignty.
