Aleema Khan says came to PHC for bail, but nominated in 42 cases

PESHAWAR: Sister Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman, Aleema Khan has revealed that she came to the Peshawar High Court for bail, but upon reaching the court, she came to know that she was nominated in 42 other cases.

According to the details, Aleema Khan, while talking to the media outside the Peshawar High Court, said that she was not aware that such a large number of cases had been registered. “I had only come to the court for bail, but after coming here, I came to know that my name has been included in 42 cases,” she said, expressing surprise and regret. On this occasion, Aleema Khan also spoke about about the party’s recent strategy. She said that Imran Khan has entrusted the task of starting the movement to party leader Junaid Akbar. She further said that Junaid Akbar has been given full authority to make PTI’s decisions and lead the movement.

 

According to Aleema Khan, the main objective of the movement is to raise voice for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, other party leaders and workers and to protest against the alleged election rigging. She further said that Junaid Akbar has been directed to leave the chairmanship of the Public Accounts Committee and focus fully on the movement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She said that the party is currently going through a difficult period, and now a new phase of the struggle of PTI workers and leaders is going to begin.
