PESHAWAR: A sudden fire broke out in a medicine warehouse near the NADRA office on Ring Road, the outskirts of the provincial capital, but it has since been brought under control by Rescue 1122 teams.
According to Rescue 1122, eight fire vehicles, two water tankers, and three ambulances were dispatched to extinguish the flames, with over 30 personnel actively engaged in firefighting efforts.
A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 reported that more than 70 per cent of the fire has been contained, and it is anticipated that the fire will be fully extinguished soon.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the financial losses are still unknown.
Later that night, the Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Bilal Ahmad Faizi shared the updates with the Pakhtun Digital desk that the fire had been put out and the cooling procedure had begun.
