SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A day-long curfew has been enforced in South Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) amid elevated security concerns, local officials confirmed.

As per a notification from the district administration, the curfew will be in place on Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the Makeen-Razmak road will remain fully closed throughout the curfew period. Residents have been advised to avoid travel along this route until after 6 PM.

Authorities have also urged the public to use alternative routes and limit movement to essential needs only for their own safety.
