ABBOTTABAD: A fire that broke out in a forest near the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) house in Abbottabad has been extinguished by the Rescue 1122 firefighters.
The Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that a fire had erupted in the forest near Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Abbottabad for unknown reasons.
He said as soon as the incident was reported, the Rescue 1122 Abbottabad control room dispatched a fire truck and firefighters to the scene.
“The rescue team reached the scene and started the fire extinguishing process, and after hectic work by our firefighters, the fire was completely brought under control.
According to the spokesperson for Rescue 1122, the timely action prevented the fire from spreading further, which made it possible to avoid possible damage.
