CHITRAL: Three persons were killed when a Speedy car plunged into the Chitral River on Boni Road early Wednesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was coming from Upper areas to Chitral city when it fell into the Chitral River due to high speed. According to initial information, three people, Mir Hanif son of Meharban Wali and Ikramullah and an unknown resident of Pariyat, were on board in the vehicle. As soon as the accident was reported, the police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot. Rescue and local swimmers pulled the vehicle out of the river. The search for the missing people in the river is ongoing.
