ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has left for South Korea to compete in the Asian Athletics Championship, scheduled to take place in Gumi from May 27 to May 31, 2025. He will be joined by fellow national athlete Yasir Sultan, as both aim to bring glory to Pakistan in the prestigious event.
The championship will feature over 2,000 athletes from 43 Asian countries competing across various track and field events. Arshad, who has previously won medals at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, is determined to deliver another outstanding performance.
The Pakistan Athletics Federation confirmed that both athletes have completed their preparations and are ready to give their best. International experts will be closely watching Arshad’s performance, given his track record as one of Asia’s top javelin throwers.
