ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commenced his official visit to Turkey, marking the first leg of his four-nation visit. The Prime Minister will also travel to Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan during this diplomatic mission.
The tour aims to enhance Pakistan’s bilateral relations and promote regional collaboration.
According to official sources, the Prime Minister will engage in comprehensive discussions with the leadership of each country, focusing on political, economic, trade, and security cooperation, along with key regional and global issues.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will also express Pakistan’s appreciation for the support shown by these nations during the recent crisis with India, reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening mutual ties and regional solidarity.
A key highlight of the tour will be his participation in the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The event will address the growing impact of climate change on glacial systems and explore collaborative environmental solutions.
This multi-nation visit reflects Pakistan’s active foreign policy, focused on deepening regional ties, advancing economic integration, and strengthening climate resilience through sustained diplomatic outreach.
