PHC Rejects Stay Plea on Exam Hall Transfer

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Thursday granted one-month bail to PTI leader Faisal Javed and fixed a date for hearing in all 16 cases against him.

A two-member bench comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Kamran Hayat Miankhel heard the application. The court granted a one-month protective bail to Faisal Javed. “Is this his new case, Justice Sahibzada Asadullah questioned the petitioner’s lawyer, Alam Khan Adenzai

He replied that a total of 16 FIRs have been registered against PTI leader, while the Assistant Attorney General said that they have submitted a report from NAB, there is no inquiry against him, Special Prosecutor NAB Arbab Kaleemullah said. He said that there is no case from the FIA and provincial government either, Additional Attorney General Noman Kakakhel remarked. “We give you time, we give you protective bail, you should appear in the relevant courts there”, Justice Sahibzada Asadullah

On this occasion, Faisal Javed said that today he came from Rawalpindi CMH and due to a bundle of cases, he should be given extra time beyond one month to resolve the cases. The Judge remarked that you have one month and you should appear in the relevant courts. The court granted one month’s protective bail to Faisal Javed.
