Pakistanis in Denmark staged a protest rally to expose Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Shankar for sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan. The protest took place in Copenhagen on Friday and coincided with Shankar’s visit to meet with Dutch politicians.
Azaad Digital obtained exclusive videos of the protest occurring outside the Danish parliament. This unrest followed India’s significant defeat during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos against Pakistan on May 10, which led to India’s international isolation, as no country supported its narrative.
India had blamed Pakistan for a militant attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on April 22 and subsequently engaged in warmongering. Despite India’s aggression, including an attack on Pakistani civilians on the night of May 6-7 that resulted in over 30 deaths, Pakistan responded with restraint. The Pakistan Air Force downed at least six Indian aircraft in a defensive move during its retaliatory strikes under Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on May 10. Following these actions, India agreed to a ceasefire.
In the aftermath of its defeat, the Indian government dispatched a multi-member delegation of leaders to various countries as a response to its apparent embarrassment. On May 30, Shankar’s arrival in Copenhagen aimed to promote Indian propaganda against Pakistan. However, to the surprise of Indian leaders and supporters, loyal Pakistani nationals gathered to raise awareness about the oppression faced by Kashmiris.
Protesters chanted slogans such as “International terrorist – Modi! Butcher of Gujarat – Modi! Free Kashmir…” The Indian ambassador was present at the scene but attempted to avoid the protesters. Reports indicate that the ambassador struggled to leave the parliament as the protests intensified.

As the world refuses to buy the Indian narrative regarding its false claims of victory in its war against Pakistan, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Subramanian Swamy, while talking in a podcast, admitted that Pakistan downed five Indian aircraft during the recent war.
The clip has gone viral on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), in which the podcaster asks the BJP leader: “The Leader of Opposition [Rahul Gandhi] recently asked the government to tell how many Indian aircraft were lost [in war against Pakistan]?”
Swamy replied: “Pakistan downed 5 of our planes [during the recent war].” The podcaster asked the BJP minister whether there was any Chinese role in the downing of their [Indian] aircraft, to which, he replied, “Well, those were Chinese planes that Pakistan used. Chinese people have not done anything against us.”
He added, “The aircraft which China gave to Pakistan were excellent. And the French aircraft [which India used against Pakistan] were not good.”
The podcaster asked Swamy whether he was referring to the French-made Rafale’s bad performance, to which he replied, “Rafale is not up to the mark as per India’s needs.”
It merits a mention that Pakistan, on the night of May 6-7, downed at least 6 Indian aircraft, including four Rafales, in a defensive action.
The Indian media and government have refused to acknowledge any military losses and, to date, have not confirmed the loss of Rafale aircraft.
Independent analysts on social media criticised the Modi-led government for resorting to warmongering and hiding the facts from its public.
