BAJAUR:Police and traffic units intensified Eid security measures across the district on the second day of Eidul Azha, establishing checkpoints on major highways and at crowded tourist sites.
Under a special security plan ordered by the District Police Officer (DPO), personnel launched a strict crackdown against underage motorcycle riders, stunt performers (“one-wheelers”), and dangerous driving to prevent accidents and maintain public order.
Despite extreme heat, officers remained deployed at high-traffic locations like Raghagan Dam and Gabbarchina, ready to respond to emergencies.
Police stations reported **widespread confiscation of motorcycles** from underage riders, with impounded vehicles parked at stations as per the DPO’s directives.
Authorities issued a public appeal, urging parents to closely supervise children: “Children are a blessing, but negligence can turn them into a risk. Parents must monitor their children’s activities at all times.”
