ISLAMABAD: Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary General of the Council, Liaqat Baloch, has strongly condemned Israel’s recent attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling it an act of extreme brutality, aggression, and terrorism. They declared that Israel’s attack on Iran is not just an attack on one country, but a direct assault on the entire Muslim Ummah.
The leader stated that Iran has been targeted because of its unwavering support for the oppressed people of Palestine and its bold stance against the genocide in Gaza. He added that it is now the collective responsibility of international institutions, and especially the leadership of the Muslim world, to halt Israel’s Zionist brutality, global hooliganism, and terrorism.
He further warned that the situation has become so grave that it is now evident: after Israel’s assault on Iran, India may also be emboldened to launch fresh aggression against Pakistan. In this context, the people of Pakistan must strengthen their unity and solidarity, like the “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” (a solid, unified structure), to face any challenge from the enemy.
Meanwhile in a joint statement, Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, along with Deputy Secretary Generals Nazeer Ahmad Janjua, Waheed Shahid Ropri, Anjum Aqeel Qadri, Waheed Shah, Waliullah Bukhari, Dr. Syed Usama Bukhari, Dr. Abdul Rehman, Zahid Akhunzada, Kashif Gulzar Naeemi, and Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, condemned the killing of Iranian military commanders and scientists, calling it an unforgivable crime by Israel.
The leaders accused Israel of executing a “Greater Israel” plan through staged wars and crises, aided by its global allies. They said this is part of a “grand dirty game” in which Israel is launching phased attacks across the Muslim world, from Gaza to Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and now Iran, often with India’s collaboration, as seen during the India-Pakistan conflicts.
They stressed that the Muslim Ummah must respond collectively and decisively to Israel’s escalating violence and aggression. The leaders criticized the Muslim world’s silence and inaction, saying that it has only emboldened Israel to act with even more savagery. They warned that if the Muslim world continues to remain passive, divided, or driven by political expediency, it will face widespread devastation.
The Milli Yakjehti Council reiterated its full solidarity with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, calling Iran’s resistance a beacon of courage against Zionist aggression. They said that the people of Pakistan view Israel’s attack on Iran as an attack on Pakistan itself and stand firmly with their Iranian brothers.
The statement concluded with a strong message of hope and confidence that Iran will resist with steadfastness and bravery, and will deliver a historic defeat to Zionist aggression.
