Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsood has broken Sever Dyson’s Guinness World Record of 27 push-ups in one minute by completing 39 push-ups using only his fingers while holding a weight of 100 pounds.
Irfan is the first Pakistani to set 156 Guinness World Records, with the most records in the push-ups category, totalling 70 records on a global scale.
He has established 41 Guinness World Records while holding a weight of 100 pounds. Additionally, Irfan has set the most world records for push-ups performed with weights of 100 pounds, 80 pounds, 60 pounds, and 40 pounds.
In 2023, he was honoured with the Presidential Award for Excellence. Irfan can perform various exercises, including push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, side jumps, and high jumps, earning world records in these categories as well.
To date, he has broken world records in 20 countries, including the United States, Britain, India, China, Norway, Germany, France, Finland, the Philippines, Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, and Syria.
It’s worth noting that 20 of Irfan’s students have also set Guinness World Records.
