PTI’s cxistence cannot be denied, but it has misled the youth: says Amir Haider Khan Hoti

Senior leader of the Awam National Party and former Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that PTI is a political reality, its existence cannot be denied, no group on Pakistan’s social media can stop its narrative.
Speaking on a podcast by Pakhtun Digital, the former Chief Minister said that PTI has certainly attracted the youth, but it has also misled them to such an extent that they are not ready to listen to anyone else.
Amir Haider Hoti said that if relations between the federation and the province deteriorate, then only the province suffers. If we did not get the right from the federation in the 12-year government, then it is the failure of the provincial government, especially in the four years when PTI’s own Prime Minister was in power. The question is, why was the province still deprived of its right?
He said that elections should have been held immediately after the no-confidence motion, assuming that power was the biggest political mistake of that time. The situation that developed after that, the cases and court decisions against Imran Khan, created such an environment that the public’s sympathy automatically turned to him. Although no one was ready to contest elections on a PTI ticket in the first phase of the local body elections, they had also lost tehsils.
He said that former Senator Zahid Khan parted ways with the party not on the basis of principles, but because he was not given the post of central spokesperson. All the party leadership and officials have complete trust in the central president, Aimal Wali Khan, and the organisation is united.
