Iran targets Israeli military bases in 10th wave of retaliatory strikes

Israel-Iran conflict escalates:

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced late Tuesday that its latest strikes targeted Israeli airbases used in previous attacks against Iran. The IRGC warned that operations would continue in “multi-layered and gradual” phases.

Footage from Israeli-occupied territories early Wednesday showed Iranian missiles hitting ground targets. For the second consecutive night, an Israeli “Iron Dome” interceptor failed mid-flight, crashing into Tel Aviv and causing a large fire.

The escalation follows Israel’s June 13 attack on Iranian soil, which killed military officials and civilians in residential areas. In response, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei appointed new military commanders and vowed retaliation, declaring life would “turn bleak” for Israel.

Since then, Iranian ballistic missiles and drones have struck Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, disrupting daily life as Israelis remain in bomb shelters. Iranian officials say the campaign will persist “as long as necessary.”
