Brigadier Naveed Ahmed visits historic Madrasa Jafar Khan

BANNU: Commander 116 Brigade Brigadier Naveed Ahmed, accompanied by Commissioner Bannu Division Muhammad Ali Shah, paid a visit to the historic Jama Masjid and the renowned religious seminary, Madrasa Jafar Khan.

Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by prominent religious scholar Sheikh-ul-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Hafiz Abdul Momin, along with Mufti Abdullah and other key administrators of the seminary. During the visit, Brigadier Naveed Ahmed took a detailed tour of various sections of the seminary, inspecting the educational facilities, boarding arrangements, and overall administration. He expressed satisfaction with the efforts being made for religious education and student welfare.

Addressing the gathering, Brigadier Naveed Ahmed highlighted the vital role that religious seminaries play in preserving Islamic values and contributing to the moral and spiritual fabric of society. He stated, “Madaris are the fortresses of Islam. A strong and prosperous Pakistan is deeply rooted in the values taught and upheld by these institutions.” In a generous gesture, the Brigade Commander extended financial assistance from his personal resources to support the seminary’s ongoing operations, particularly focusing on the boarding and lodging of the students.

He also took the opportunity to interact with the religious scholars and students, offering them words of encouragement and best wishes for their future. He assured them of continued support and collaboration in the times to come. The visit was seen as a meaningful gesture of solidarity and respect towards religious institutions, reflecting the army’s commitment to fostering harmony and supporting educational development across all sectors of society.
