Trump announces U.S. completes air strikes on Iran; 3 nuclear sites hit

US AIRSTRIKES on IRAN , hit 3 neuclear sites

The United States carried out targeted airstrikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities early Sunday, hitting the heavily fortified sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, President Trump announced.

The operation marks a major escalation in the Middle East, as the U.S. directly intervenes in the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. The strikes, conducted with advanced stealth bombers, aimed to cripple Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

This military action represents a decisive shift from diplomacy to force, a move past U.S. administrations had avoided. The attack risks provoking Iranian retaliation against American forces in the region.

Trump approved the strikes after concluding diplomatic efforts had failed. U.S. B-2 bombers, capable of delivering massive “bunker-buster” bombs, were deployed to destroy Fordow—Iran’s deepest underground enrichment site. Israel was reportedly informed beforehand.

On Truth Social, Trump declared the mission successful, stating all aircraft had exited Iranian airspace safely. “No other military could have done this,” he said, urging peace afterward.

The attack could trigger further instability, with Iran likely to respond. The White House has not detailed next steps but emphasized the strikes were necessary to halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
