ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has strongly condemned the United States’ strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, warning that such actions risk further destabilizing an already tense region.
In a statement posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Barrister Gohar stated, “The first direct attack on Iran marks a dangerous escalation. We call for an immediate halt to hostilities and urge all parties to work towards de-escalation.”
He underscored Iran’s legitimate right to defend itself against external aggression.
Political and civil society leaders across Pakistan also voiced concern over the development, urging efforts to restore regional peace and stability.
The condemnation comes as the U.S. formally enters the Israel-Iran conflict, launching attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities.
