PTI collectively responsible for budget delay, not just CM Gandapur: Ajmal Wazir

Ajmal Wazir

Peshawar:  Former provincial minister Ajmal Khan Wazir has stated that placing the entire responsibility for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) budget approval solely on Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is misleading.

Speaking on the Pakhtun Digital Podcast, Wazir explained that while Gandapur holds constitutional responsibility as Chief Minister, the decision to pass the budget was not his alone. He revealed that before the approval, PTI leaders Omar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, and the party’s political committee had already declared that the budget would be passed to prevent a collapse of the provincial system.

Wazir also addressed Aleema Khan’s allegations of a conspiracy against Gandapur, saying it was too early to draw conclusions. He expressed confidence that Gandapur would resolve any issues after meeting PTI founder Imran Khan.
