Pak Army joins rescue work after 17 tourists drown in Swat river

In view of the flood situation caused by heavy rains in Swat, Pakistan Army troops have reached the affected areas.

The military troops are engaged in rescue operations along with Rescue 1122, the troops are equipped with modern rescue equipment and necessary equipment.

So far, three people have been rescued alive during the ongoing operation, while seven bodies have also been recovered.

Officials say that if the situation worsens, additional military troops will also be sent to the area.

Security sources say that the Pakistan Army, as always, is fully cooperating with the local administration in this difficult time so that the loss of life and property can be minimized.
