KARACHI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir issued a strong message during the commissioning parade of the 123rd Midshipmen and 31st Short Service Commission Course at the Pakistan Naval Academy on Saturday, declaring that any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty would be met with a “decisive response.”
Calling it an honour to review the impressive maritime passing out parade, Field Marshal Munir praised the cadets’ discipline and professionalism, stating that their confident presence reflected the hopes of the nation.
Addressing the graduating cadets, he said, “You are set to join a navy known for its exemplary morals, superior skills, and unmatched professionalism.”
He also extended congratulations to the international cadets from Türkiye, Bahrain, Iraq, Palestine, and Djibouti for successfully completing their training.
