BAJAUR: The Bajaur district administration has imposed a complete ban on all public activities in canals, rivers, and dams under Section 144 of the CrPC to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali issued the order prohibiting swimming, bathing, fishing, mining, picnics, wood collection, and vehicle washing in water bodies across the district. The restrictions come as a precautionary measure to avoid drowning incidents and other hazards.
Authorities warned that violators will face legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The ban aims to curb risky activities near water sources during the current season.
