ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Taimur Jhagra has described the ongoing conflicts within PTI as internal failures. Despite facing pressure, the party managed to form a government in one province.
Speaking to a private TV , Jhagra dismissed the anti-corruption notices against him as ridiculous. He claimed that if PTI’s founder is released, democracy in the country will return to normal.
Reflecting on the past few years, Jhagra said the founders of the current government have failed to diminish PTI’s popularity. He added that if the government is serious about negotiations, it should take the first step.
Jhagra also criticized the treatment of PTI’s founder, saying he is not allowed to sleep for more than two hours a day and has lost weight. The founder is also restricted from meeting his sisters for more than 15 minutes at a time.
