Bacha Khan University Charsadda has dismissed 139 employees who were working on a daily wage (contingent pay) basis, effective immediately.
This decision was made during the eighth Senate meeting of the university, which took place on July 24, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Provincial Minister for Higher Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The recommendations from the Human Resource Rationalisation Committee were presented at this meeting, leading to the decision. A notification to implement these recommendations was issued by the university today, July 3.
As per the notification, all dismissed employees have been instructed to complete the clearance process from their respective departments or sections immediately.
