PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, represented by Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science and IT, has signed three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Chinese institutions to boost technological and scientific collaboration.
Under the agreements, KP youth will receive training in artificial intelligence and modern technology in China. The first phase will see 200 young Pakistanis trained in Applied AI. The partnerships will also facilitate student exchanges, internships, and joint curriculum development.
The initiative aligns with the vision of former Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a center for digital innovation, scientific research, and agricultural self-sufficiency. Officials described the visit as a significant step toward strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation in technology and education.
