Awami National Party Central President Senator Aimal Wali Khan has said that Samar Haroon Bilour’s decision to leave the party is not surprising, as many colleagues had already informed him of this possibility.
In his statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar, he said that the sacrifices made by Alhaj Ghulam Ahmed Bilour in his political life of more than sixty years are not hidden from anyone; such a great personality does not deserve further trials at this age.
He said that it is regrettable to say that the decision that came out today is not that of Haji Sahib but of a person like Irfanullah Marwat, who has neither any ideology nor weight in politics.
Aimal Wali Khan said that today is not a heavy day for him because the real heavy day was when he carried the funerals of Shaheed Bashir Bilour and Shaheed Haroon Bilour on his shoulders. The sacrifice of these martyrs, their ideology and their commitment are still the real capital of ANP.
He appealed to the workers not to lose courage, because when one path is closed, nature opens many new doors. Good news regarding Peshawar will be heard very soon.
Aimal Wali Khan announced that the death anniversary of Shaheed Haroon Ahmed Bilour will be observed with devotion and respect at his grave tomorrow at 11 am and appealed to all workers to participate fully.
