ISLAMABAD: Faisal Chaudhry, a lawyer for PTI founder Imran Khan, has raised serious concerns over the party’s internal management and Senate election ticket allocations, claiming undeserving candidates were favored.
Speaking on Hum News’ program “Pakistan Tonight,” Chaudhry stated that PTI is suffering from weak leadership and internal chaos, leading to poor decision-making. He specifically criticized the Senate candidate list, saying, “I have reservations—two or three tickets were given to people who have done nothing for the party.”
Chaudhry warned that sidelining loyal members for newcomers could trigger further turmoil. He also claimed that a tweet from Imran Khan regarding the Senate elections was altered, adding to confusion.
Despite his objections, he urged PTI candidates to withdraw if needed to prevent further damage to the party. “If they don’t step back, the party will face losses,” he said.
