ISLAMABAD : Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan announced that the final list of candidates for the upcoming Senate elections has been issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Ayub stated that the list was decided solely by the PTI founder, leaving no room for further discussion or consultation. He emphasized that all decisions made by the party’s founder are final and must be followed without question.
“The protest movement is growing stronger,” Ayub said, noting increased public participation not only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also across other provinces.
He further clarified that PTI’s legal team and senior leaders have conveyed that only the officially approved candidate list should be considered valid. Ayub stressed that respecting the PTI founder’s decisions is crucial for maintaining party discipline.
