PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Terrorist Attack on Civilians in Tirah Valley, Vows to Defeat Terrorism
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of innocent and peaceful civilians who were martyred in a brutal attack by Khawarij terrorists in the Bagh Maidan area of Tirah Valley.
In a strongly worded statement, the Prime Minister condemned the firing incident, calling it an act of cowardice and brutality. He offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
Terming the attackers as enemies of peace and humanity, the Prime Minister stated that such heinous actions by terrorists cannot shake the nation’s resolve. “The malicious intentions of the Khawarij will not succeed. We will take terrorists and terrorism to their logical conclusion,” he asserted.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also issued immediate instructions to the relevant authorities to ensure that all injured individuals receive the best possible medical treatment without delay.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, emphasising that the sacrifices of innocent lives will not go in vain.
The situation in Tirah Valley remains tense as security forces continue operations in the area. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
