PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur chaired a high-level meeting on Monday to review the law and order situation following the deadly Bajaur incident, which resulted in civilian and security personnel casualties.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Additional Chief Secretary, and other senior officials. They briefed the CM on the latest security developments in the province.
Expressing deep sorrow, Gandapur announced Rs. 10 million each for the families of martyred civilians and security personnel. Additionally, Rs. 2.5 million each was approved for those injured in the incident.
The CM extended condolences to the bereaved families and emphasized the need for improved security measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
