ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sheikh Waqas Akram has said that Qasim and Suleman, sons of PTI founder Imran Khan, will come to Pakistan, and no one should have any doubts about this.
In a statement, Sheikh Waqas said that Imran Khan’s children have decided to come to Pakistan themselves, and now only the date of their arrival remains to be determined.
“When Qasim and Suleman decided to come, they told their father that they were not taking permission, but were giving information.”
Describing the news circulating in the media and political circles as propaganda, he said that such things are of no use, but only baseless speculations are being spread.
Sheikh Waqas Akram strongly denied the reports that the PTI founder has stopped his children from coming to Pakistan. He said, “Imran Khan has never stopped his sons from coming to Pakistan; such things are misleading and baseless.”
It should be noted that in recent days, reports had surfaced that Imran Khan had said that his sons would not come to Pakistan and would not be part of any protest movement.
According to sources, Qasim and Suleman were allegedly planning to launch a movement in Pakistan for their father’s release, but later it was claimed that Imran Khan had stopped them from coming to Pakistan.
Sheikh Waqas’ latest statement has come as a clear denial of these reports, which has brought a new perspective to the internal affairs of PTI.
