The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced an increase in online application fees for its competitive examinations, with the new fee structure set to take effect on September 21.
According to an official notification from the commission, the fee hike, approved by the Finance Division, will impact applicants across various grades. The updated fees are as follows:
- Applicants for Grades 16 and 17 will now pay Rs 600 (previously a lower amount).
The fee for Grade 18 has been raised to Rs 1,500.
The application cost for Grade 19 is now Rs 2,500.
For Grade 20 and above, the fee will be Rs 3,000.
Additionally, the fee for review petitions and representations has been set at Rs 500.
The FPSC has instructed all candidates to submit their applications according to this updated fee structure once the new rates go into effect.

The Deputy Commissioner Peshawar has imposed a ban on entry within 200 meters radious of the examination centers, except for candidates, authorized examination staff and law enforcement officials, in the vicinity of Government Hasnain Shaheed Higher Secondary School No. 1, Peshawar under Section 144 for the transparent conduct of screening tests for recruitment of teaching staff to be held on August 2 and 3, 2025 under the Educational Testing and Evaluation Authority (ETEA). Similarly, a complete ban has been imposed on public gatherings, the presence of parents or unrelated persons, the presence of weapons or harmful objects, noise and any kind of disruptive activities. And for violation of this order, legal action will be taken under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. This order shall come into effect immediately and shall remain in effect until the end of the examinations.
