PANJGUR: In a decisive operation, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South successfully engaged and eliminated 11 terrorists belonging to the banned outfit Fitna Al Hindustan in Gwargo, Panjgur district, late last night.
Acting on precise intelligence inputs, troops of the 91 Wing of FC Balochistan South launched a targeted operation in the area. The terrorists were ambushed during the exchange of fire, resulting in the elimination of 11 militants.
However, the encounter also claimed the lives of two valiant FC soldiers, who fought gallantly before embracing Shahadat (martyrdom).
Following the initial engagement, security forces have initiated a clearance operation to root out any remaining terrorists in the region. Authorities have vowed to intensify counter-terrorism efforts to ensure complete eradication of militant threats in Balochistan.
This operation marks another significant blow to terrorist networks attempting to destabilize the region. The FC Balochistan South has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and security through proactive measures and intelligence-based operations.
