PESHAWAR: The Ministry of Religious Affairs, aspirants can submit Hajj applications through designated banks and online portals as the Bank starts the collection of Hajj fees from pilgrims today, Monday.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the first instalment will be collected from registered pilgrims on a first-come, first-served basis from today to August 9. New Hajj pilgrims will also be able to apply from August 11 to 16 if seats are available.

According to the notification, the collection of Hajj fees will be stopped as soon as the seats are filled, and the Hajj package 2026 will be between 1.15 million and 1.25 million.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the second instalment will be collected from November 1. The restriction on re-hajj and the upper age limit have been lifted. The Ministry of Religious Affairs says that children born after March 1, 2014, cannot apply.

It is to mentioning here that this government have announced early depositing Hajj fee due to multiple reasons. The early deposit will ensure the quota of Pilgrims to be submitted to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and religious affairs.

The system has been largely digital, and the pilgrims need extensive documentation and screening to pass through various departments, which need early time to be completed.
