Preparations for Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14 are in full swing, with cities like Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Islamabad buzzing with patriotic fervor. Streets and markets are adorned with national flags, badges, caps, and buntings, while citizens enthusiastically decorate their homes, offices, and vehicles with green crescent flags and colorful lights.
Despite rising inflation, the public’s enthusiasm remains undiminished. Young people are purchasing special Independence Day outfits and decorating their motorcycles and cars with flags. Children are also actively participating, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The spirit of freedom and national pride is evident as Pakistanis gear up to celebrate the day with dignity and joy.
