BANNU: Terrorists launched a drone quadcopter attack on FC’s Takhtikhel post in Bannu tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing Sepoy Meena Bacha and injuring three personnel.

The injured personnel include Lance Naik Syedullah, Sepoy Noor Muhammad and Sepoy Nooruddin, who have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

According to sources, the Takhtikhel post is being continuously targeted by terrorists, and so far, more than 12 attacks have been recorded on this post, while more than 5 drone attacks have been recorded.

After the attack, security forces have launched a search operation to find the terrorists in the area.

On the other hand, security forces, police and CTD have launched a joint search and strike operation in the sensitive area of ​​Huved in Bannu on information about the presence of terrorists.

Because of possible threats, a curfew has been imposed in the sensitive area of Huved in Bannu until further notice, while all the transport routes connected to the area have been completely closed.

It should be noted here that it was not a single drone attack in the area as earlier to this, several innocent people have been targeted with such a type of quadcopter attack. The residents have questioned the performance of the district administration for failing to identify the drone operating zone.
