BANNU: Based on intelligence inputs, Pakistan Army and Bannu Police conducted a joint search and targeted operation in the areas of Hoveed and arrested 07 facilitators belonging to a banned organisation, while 3 hideouts of terrorists were successfully destroyed.
According to Aamir Khan, spokesperson for the Bannu police, a Zaranj vehicle and two motorcycles were also seized during the operation. Joint patrols continued in Hoveed Bazaar and its surroundings to ensure continuity of security in the area, which further strengthened the sense of security and safety among the local population.
This operation was carried out by implementing the instructions of DIG Bannu Region and DPO Bannu, which is an important step towards lasting peace and the eradication of terrorism in the area.

The Pakistan Army and Bannu Police have reiterated their resolve to continue their operations until the complete elimination of terrorism and appealed to the public to immediately report suspicious activities to the relevant institutions so that peace-threatening elements can be eliminated.
