BANNU Independence Day and Meerka-e-Haq Sports Festival

 BANNU: The city came alive with high-energy karate, gymnastics, and judo competitions today as part of the Independence Day and Marika-e-Haq Sports Festival. The event, jointly organized by the Pakistan Army and district administration, drew enthusiastic crowds and showcased young athletic talent.

Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Allah Nawaz Khan and Regional Sports Officer Dr. Hazratullah Khan attended as special guests, awarding prizes to top performers. A large gathering of spectators, players, and local elders cheered on the participants, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

In his address, Khan praised the initiative as a constructive outlet for youth and reaffirmed plans to hold similar events in the future. The festival underscored community spirit and national pride through sportsmanship and discipline.
