Sher Afzal Marwat termed Aleema Khan establishment tout

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has strongly criticized his own party’s leadership for the unsuccessful protests on August 5. In a tweet, Marwat called the demonstrations a "complete failure" and blamed the Islamabad and Rawalpindi leadership for not showing up.

Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has made serious allegations against senior leader Aleema Khan, saying that she herself is the establishment’s tout, she roams everywhere and has never been arrested till date.

‎According to details, Sher Afzal Marwat said that Aleema Khan abused him today and called him an establishment’s tout, although the reality is the opposite.

‎‎In what capacity is Aleema Khan speaking in the party? She is distributing fatwas, abusing, my heart is not big enough to forgive everything.

‎Sher Afzal Marwat further said that no one has the right to abuse, and even if someone makes a statement and then withdraws it, he has to respond to it.

‎He accused Aleema Khan of taking over the party within a year, and putting herself ahead in every issue and harming the party.

‎On the other hand, according to internal sources of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, several important leaders of the party have supported Sher Afzal Marwat’s return to the party. These leaders include Barrister Gohar Ali, Shehryar Afridi, Asad Qaiser, Dr. Nisar Jatt and others.

‎In the party meeting, several members opined that Marwat should be reinstated in the PTI and a formal recommendation should be submitted to the founder PTI in this regard. However, some members also raised the question of who will guarantee to stop Sher Afzal Marwat from making statements against the party leadership before reinstating him.
