PESHAWAR:A citizen has petitioned the Peshawar High Court (PHC) seeking action against TikTok for allegedly promoting “immoral content” in Pashto during live streams.

The petition claims TikTok Live hosts engage in explicit conversations in Pashto to attract viewership, arguing such content violates societal values and negatively impacts the community. “Our society does not permit these immoral acts,” the filing states, emphasizing the platform’s influence on local cultural norms.
