KP youth will be empowered through skill development: CM Ali Amin Gandapur

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the PTI government has taken positive steps for the bright and better future of the youth of the province and they will be empowered through skilled development and education.

Addressing a ceremony on the eve of World Youth Day, the Chief Minister said that projects like higher education, employment and health have been launched for the youth while Youth Skill Program has been launched to make the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa skilled and independent.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that interest-free loans are being provided to skilled youth for employment, while courses have been designed keeping in mind employment demand in foreign countries. He said that after obtaining the credentials better opportunity will be available abroad

He added that the government does not have many jobs, and that is why the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is focusing on youth technical education to become self-sufficient and independent.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that factories in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are bringing an industrial revolution and facilities will be provided to the private sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which will provide employment opportunities.

He informed that work on a new transmission line has been started with a huge amount of 18 billion rupees and a new 800 MW transmission line will be completed by 2028, which would provide electricity to factories at concessional rates, Ali Amin Gandapur.
