CM Gandapur urges unity in independence day message

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister CM  Ali Amin Gandapur extended Independence Day greetings to the nation, particularly the people of KP, on Pakistan’s 78th anniversary.

In his message, Gandapur described the day as a “renewal of commitment” to Pakistan’s survival, security, development, and prosperity. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of ancestors and freedom movement martyrs that led to Pakistan’s creation.

The CM highlighted the significance of this year coinciding with the “Battle of Haq” (Banyan Marsus) celebrations, amplifying the Independence Day joy. He honored the martyrs of this victory.

Gandapur called it a “collective duty” to build Pakistan into a truly independent welfare state and developed nation. He urged all sections of society to “rise above distinctions”, unite for real freedom and development, and work towards financial self-sufficiency and economic stability, calling these indispensable for national defense.

He concluded by asking citizens to renew their pledge to make Pakistan a great country according to Quaid-e-Azam’s vision.
